UIDAI has launched online service where you can easily modify or change your information anytime you want to. Visit UIDAI website and use your registered mobile number to log in. You will get an OTP number on your register mobile number, which will help you to proceed further.

Easy Steps to Update Aadhar Card Details Online

Step 1: First log in to www.uidai.gov.in website

Step 2: Click on the update Aadhaar Details (Online) Option

Step 3: Enter your 12 digits Aadhaar card number and text verification and click on send OTP

Step 4: Now you receive 6 digit OTP on your register mobile number, enter the OTP and login

Step 5: Then, select the field you want to update for example, if you want to update your address, so select the address option and click the submit button

Step 6: Enter your details in the form

Step 7: Review the information you have provided and click on proceed

Step 8: Select the document type you wanted to upload

  • Important Advice…..To Remember While Updating Aadhaar Card!!

    • Make sure that you enter all the information that needs to be corrected, in the suitable field
    • The supporting documents that you provide must be a part of the authorized list of documents
    • Fill in the correct details in English and your local language
    • If you file for corrections online, keep the URN safe since you will need it to verifiy the status of the update
    • If you no longer have the phone number that you used while registering, use the offline option to update Aadhaar information
